Paris, March 2025 — Today, Restitution for Africa (RAF) is proud to announce the official launch of its brand new website, a dynamic platform designed to expand its impactful actions and better support courageous whistleblowers in the fight against corruption across Africa.
A platform for transparency and justice
The new RAF site seduces right from the home page with a striking banner with the strong message:
“Corruption thrives in our silence. Together, let's break the mutilation to reveal the truth.”
Accompanied by intuitive navigation, the site allows visitors to quickly access essential sections: news, dynamic testimonies, key figures (number of cases followed, organized events, established partnerships) and much more.
A comprehensive overview of RAF's mission and actions
The “About” section offers Internet users a detailed presentation of RAF: history, mission, vision and values that guide each action. At the heart of this initiative is Jean-Jacques Lumumba, President of RAF — a symbol of unwavering courage. Coming from a lineage marked by iconic figures such as Patrice Lumumba and Simon Kimbangu, and with a career marked by resistance to corruption, Jean-Jacques embodies the determination necessary to establish transparency and the rule of law.
The “Our Actions” page highlights a multi-dimensional approach:
• Fight against corruption: Legal actions and unwavering mobilization to punish fraudulent practices.
• Support for whistleblowers: A comprehensive system of assistance — legal, media and logistical — to protect those who dare to report abuses.
• Restitution of illicit assets: A fight to recover embezzled funds and reorient them towards the development of African communities.
• Education and information: Educational initiatives and events to raise public awareness about corruption issues.
In a passionate manifesto, Jean-Jacques Lumumba declares:
“I am speaking to all those who refuse to submit to a system plagued by corruption... Together, let's remove the masks, break the chains of illicit profit and take back control of our destiny.”
